Quality Assurance

The primary purpose of PSI is to verify that the goods meet the quality standards specified by the buyer. This includes checking for defects, damages, inconsistencies, and other issues that may affect the quality of the products.

Conformance to Specifications

The inspection ensures that the goods conform to the technical specifications, contractual requirements, and standards agreed upon between the buyer and the supplier. This may include product specifications, packaging requirements, labelling, quantity, and other relevant criteria as per the contract.

Risk Mitigation

PSI helps to mitigate risks associated with receiving substandard or defective goods. By identifying and addressing issues before shipment, both the buyer and the supplier can avoid potential disputes, rejections, and costly returns.
